I don’t get why we don’t see the plurality of socialism these days. Like back in the 1850s you had Blanquists, Proudhonists, Marxists, Bankuninists, etc. Now all I really see these days is Marxists.
I guess it does help somewhat for unity, but like.. the left still isn’t united in any way. And I mean I get the different principled beliefs, but when the enemy is rallied together regardless of principle, it’s kinda silly not to come together in some kinda loose group. It just sucks that the right can get far right candidates elected on the national stage and the best we can put up against them are a handful of progressives and an old guy (bless his heart) that calls himself a demsoc. We gotta step our game up.
